Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to accidents, breakdowns, tire changes, fuel delivery, jump starts, and other roadside incidents

Maintain constant communication with motorists while enroute

Perform basic repairs or safely tow customer vehicles to a garage or designated destination

Ensure secure loading and unloading of vehicles onto the tow truck

Keep the tow truck clean and in good condition

Remove illegally parked vehicles

Write checks for vehicle releases

Maintain accurate driving and towing activity logs

Safeguard all company-issued equipment
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tow Truck Driver/Operator

Proficiency in driving manual shift vehicles
-
Familiarity with Android cell phones and their functionalities
-
Valid CDL Class A or B license
-
Clean MVR (driver's license report) for the past 3-4 years
-
Ability to multitask and work efficiently

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong customer service orientation

Physical ability to lift/move objects weighing up to 75 pounds

Dependability, honesty, and self-motivation

Open-mindedness and willingness to learn

Legible handwriting for proper documentation

Basic mechanical skills or light mechanic work experience

Attention to detail in documenting work

Law-abiding and safety-conscious mindset

Reliable cell phone and ability to effectively operate GPS mapping

Clean criminal background check (preferred)

Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test

Ability to sit in a vehicle for extended periods

Capability to kneel, squat, and work underneath vehicles attaching straps, winches, etc.

Willingness to work in all weather conditions
Training:
-
Paid training for 3-5 days, requiring full-day availability
Schedule:
-
Home daily (majority of the time)

Typically 5-day shifts, Monday-Friday, 12 hours a day

Flexible schedule with some weekends required

On-call availability may be necessary
Daily Quota:
-
Must pick up or deliver 8 vehicles per day
-
Tow Truck Driver/Operator can continue working after meeting the quota for additional pay (commission-based)
